You can find our produce stall at the Sturminster Newton country market every Tuesday morning between 9.00 and 12.00 o’clock.
Apple juice/cider
Manually pressed and pasteurised in 0.75l bottles. Rails Farm uses a variety of apples grown on our own land. We do neither use pesticides nor artificial fertilizers. Only healthy, disease, mould and rot free apples are hand selected and pressed producing unfiltered pure apple juice and cider.

Fresh eggs
Goose Eggs
Goose eggs are a truly seasonal produce, as geese only lay from Valentines Day onward for two or three months. The eggs are of a spectacular size. Our geese are free ranging, and fed on organic mixed corn and grass. Looking forward to next year’s lay.

Sheep and alpaca wool
We are selling spun wool from our sheep and alpaca. We offer pure sheep wool and blended sheep/alpaca wool in natural colours. For the spinners, we have carded pure Shetland wool tops for only £5 for 50 grams.
Knitters have the opportunity to purchase natural cream coloured yarn of blended Shetland/Alpaca (15%) wool or natural grey 100% Shetland for only £7.50 for 50 grams.

Seafoam pattern scarf knitting kit
This a fairly easy, beginner friendly, scarf pattern. It consists of only knit stitches and yarn overs. This generates a distinctive wavy appearance, which shows up colour variations extremely well. Once completed the scarf will measure approximately 190 cm in length and 18 cm in width.
The kit contains three 50g skeins of Rails Farm DK yarn. You have a choice of colour and wool. You can either purchase 100% Shetland or a Shetland/alpaca blend of 85/25 %.
The shown knitting needles are not included but can be purchased.

Sock knitting kit
Our latest and greatest use for the wool we produce is socks! Thoroughly field test by us, in our fields, these socks will help make cold and wet winters mornings feel warmer and on more mild days add a good ammount of comfort to just about any pair of wellies.

Felted Sheepskins
We’re now very happy to be offering felted sheepskins! The proccess to produce one uses lots carded wool, dishwasher liquid, and most importantly; time and effort.

Gaby in action, inspecting our bee hives for disease and welfare of the colonies. Our thousands of employees are flying out to collect pollen and nectar to feed their brood and to produce delicious honey. Our honey is centrifuged by hand and not heated. Hence, full flavour with all the goodness.
